After much intensive negotiations with the minister of war and finance it seems I now have non divorce approval to purchase a Oka.
however before I do, I need to know if my shed will fit one. so can one measure the hight of one with a roof rach and with out a roof rack, and its length from end to end. many thanks in advance.
Cheers

Steve this is the info you need. An XT Oka bus is shorter than that shown in the table. someone elso here will know by how much. Also be aware that a bull bar will make it longer.

Hi Steve, height I am sure you realise is related to load and tyres fitted, and I suppose, to the fact that the springs may be sagging on an older unit. My bus/top-pop body is 256 cm, high, while the roofrack over the front cabin adds another 9 cm. My rims and tyres are 19.5, fitted with 265 Toyos. If I were to fit wider tyres, then these tyres we would be taller, raising the height by a few cm. Hank

There is 250mm Difference between the early XT Bus body and the later XT and LT bus bodies. OKA extended the Duel Cab and Bus body length after XT OKA 137 along with many other small upgrades. Also many bodies have been swapped over the years so it is possible to have a short body LT Duel cab or Van / Bus originally from a XT

Steve, following on from the above posts you may not be aware that the actual drivers cab is the only bit that is part of the original vehicle. The other body configs just bolt onto the chassis behind the cab with a sealing strip between the two. There are differences between the XT and LT cabs other than the obvious like the "bonnet" and the wider instrument binnacle on the LT. The actual engine bay is wider on an XT which lends itself to engine swaps more readily but at the expense of extra interior room in the cab. Other than that there are differences like radiator placement and ahost of other small differences.
