If the pic below doesn't appear squeezed, you're OK; if it is compressed width-wise, go to Tools, and click Compatibility View.

Cool idea for the spare tyre isn't it? On a 'regular' 4WD anyway.

Hi Hal,

Yes looks good, but is it dust proof? We've been storing hoses inside our spare wheel for a while (see pic below on the Mitchell Falls Road preparing to fix a broken spring bolt).



We've recently gone up market and put the hoses in a nice plastic cover to keep them clean(er).

A little more research there reveals: absolutely not! But then it is made in California for the Mercedes G-Wagen... and I just have this feeling there's not a lot of them see a lot of dust!
