We came that way.
Booligal to Hillston has a section under major road works so is 40kph via a detour, No corrugations there or on the rest (south side of the Lachlan).
Hillston to Lake Cargelligo is all bitumen I think.
Cheers,
Peter

Hope you are all enjoying the bright sunny weather (too sunny for my liking because only a week ago we were boondocking in temperatures well below zero.

Won't be able to join you as planned in our old Hino motorhome because we arrived back in Australia two days before the lock down and although not legally required to stay isolated, given the crazy situation in the USA, we figured it would be right not to mingle with too many people for the first couple of weeks. Our daughter, who is an intensive care specialist wasn't too keen to see us either.
So instead of Lake Cargelligo, we are holed up in a nice free campground in Branxston with water, dump point and a well-stocked supermarket only a short walk away. Green grass and shady trees complete the picture.

As an indication of things to come, another camper here is also self-isolating because of contact with a new Zealander who had coronavirus. Maintaining "social distancing" is all the rage - as it should be everywhere

Could be worse - heard from friends that all National parks and reserves across the USA are being closed and in some counties all private campgrounds are being shut as well. Lots (thousands and thousands camped down in the deserts) of very worried motorhomers are wondering just where they can go. Maybe on the side of the road like lots of other homeless people over there.

Have fun

Tony

Just a thanks from Margaret and I to all those who fronted up from all corners and especially those who helped make it all happen.
We had a great few days and I reckon most others did too,
We had to make a bit of a bolt earlier than we intended to get into SA before the border controls.
I trust everyone got home again safe and sound.
See you next year?
Cheers,
Peter & Margaret
