I have spoken to Wompinni, and around the 18th of March is fine. Eric the proprietor is very much looking forward to seeing a bunch of Okas on the property, being an ex-Oka tour driver. They have access to a lot of historic places that are not open to the public, and he suggested if anyone is interested he would organise a tag-along trip to these places with a barbecue lunch. He will be as much or as little part of the meet as everyone wants.

For those into art, they have a young friend living there, Jasmine Rose, who is this coming year doing her masters in fine art and the year after her doctorate. She is an interesting girl - petite, a brilliant artist and drives a stinking hot F100 V8 truck. They are all a pretty eccentric bunch, and a lot of fun.

October 2019.

On the road heading north there are large threatening "Keep Out" signs for the Timber Reserve, but Eric said it was a public road so they could be ignored. So we did.

Cheers,
Peter

G’day guys
Just had a chat with Eric from Wompinni Station he use to drive an Oka tour bus
He has organized firewood for our happy hour and shade near the camp kitchen
Also a tag a long tour to a few places that are not open to the public free of charge
Also a barge to take the Okas across the Murray River it a large island for some great photos and your lunch
Eric can not be more helpful I think
I told him that we are already 15 vehicles strong and would give him a more accurate number by February
So keep the Oka numbers and people coming
I am on both Facebook sites and on here
Eric also gave me his phone number incase you would like anything extra hi number is as follows 0439864022
I am hoping to make this the best and biggest gathering we have ever had BUT it is not only up to me your help is also required to have a great time so get the date and bring your sense of humor let’s all enjoy cheers
Eric has plenty of room on the station

Just so you all know, if you haven't finished converting your Oka to a camper, they have four excellent self contained free-standing units at Wompinni.
