A short in the fuel solenoid cut off wire popped a fuse, but as I tell people, "There is ONE wire that makes the Perkins go or stop, and I know where it is "
We are due to pick up a trailer and a pile of sandwich panel from Yandina at the end of the week, which could be a challenge with the latest lock down, but as a result of slowing right down (65-75 sometimes 80kph) and we just drove 1,100km from Townsville on the rear tanks which hold 150L. That is 13.6L/100km, so there are compensations.

What did you use for a camera?
How often do you repack the hubs? (Those water crossings look to be a bit deep.)

Watching hubs, not repacked yet. Max water depth was about 550mm.

7,000km after those water crossings the hubs were starting to get a bit too warm.Holmz wrote: How often do you repack the hubs? (Those water crossings look to be a bit deep.)
Changing the bearings.
The grease was apparently unaffected, but the bearings were showing signs of being hot. Just a few drops of water I reckon?
