Does anyone have one of the UniPower Alternators (12V, 24V, Weld, AC) fitted to their Oka?
If so any chance of a photo of its mounting arrangement.
I am wondering if it is fitted in place of the standard alternator or if it is mounted as an additional alternator (my preference); in which case I will sort through the boxes of fiting brackets till I find the right looking one.
thanks,
Frank

Frank, there was a brief mention of Unipower in this Welding Post, and a Unipower brochure is available from the Contributions category of the Documents and Data section of the website here.
From their brochure and installation manual, my understanding is that the Unipower alternator can be used to replace, or in addition to, the regular alternator.

David,
thanks for pointing that other post out to me, I forgot to check the forum links listing pdf.
Yes they can be mounted as either, I was hoping that the preferred configuration was as an additional unit as then UniPower would likely have a purpose built bracket to suit the perkins that I could grab.
Looks like no one has one mounted. With the lack of room around the engine I will probably fit it in place of the original alternator.
