g'day all
the Cab is finally off 112. see pics.
the list is not as long nor as bad as i 1st thought. the Cab is in quite a state with rust under the rear section as wwell as every other spot. Allan has a LT cab at OKA in WA, which im hoping to use. the sprinigs are different on hte back left to right. May need deed ones? front dif bit loose. just redo bearings. change all seals and a good clean up.
im sure there will be loads more to do but for now its looking quite hopefull.
will post pudates as they happen

OK, good time to slot in a V8 diesel..........

Did you manage to ask Alan about the cab as a complete fit out?

Alan did have some new springs there as well.

I got my main leaves replaced with 10mm and the rest reset.

Was done in Adelaide. About 1k for memory.

I went will 10mm as it was suggest they would handle a bit more weight and also suit corrugations etc.

9mm would the perfect size for a OKA, however 9mm is hard to get.

Sorry, reply was sent quickly.

I went with 10mm main leaves as t was suggested they would work better.

i never drove the OKA with old leaves, however it does ride good on corrugations.
