Hi All,
When people are doing engine conversions, are they taking off the cab to do this? Or even rebuilding the Perkins??
Do you need to take the cab off or can you get out the engine hatch??

The cab is coming off on mine. Wish it was already.
The only thing with mine will be the big air compressor hanging off the side, might need to lift it on and off a couple of times to see whether it will fit or if the body needs to be persuaded a bit at the rear of the passenger seat. The other option is out a single piston compressor on.

I make my cabs tilt. you have to re plumb a few things, extend brake lines. once done you undo bull bar, undo some cables & hoses, winch it up. takes about 1-5 hours but makes them a lot easier to work on. when finished, put the 4 cab bolts in & unbolt hinge,R O Ps again.
