These are only product codes. Does anyone have the correct paint code?

Not even OKA Parts has the correct paint code number.

Cheers, Tony

Hi Tony,

I took a sample to an automotive paint shop and got it matched.

They did a good job and with the correct paint technique you can't
tell the difference.

Cheers Brian

It also depends on what colour your Oka is painted.
for those with Australian Camouflage the paint is made by Protec, they have branches in most states except the NT. Available in 4 litre, 1 litre and 400g spray cans and they are happy to post any orders.
The codes are Camouflage Green Lustreless 342-1166-23
Camouflage Brown Lustreless 342-5265-23
Camouflage Black Lustreless 342-7165-23
When applying paint the order is green first, then brown and finish up with black, no straight edges on colour patches and don't follow vehicle profiles.
Due to the high solid content it is best to warm the spray cans and shake very well before use or they do clog the nozzles.

OKA 374 LT Van, converted to camper/motorhome,
400ah Lithiums, 1100w solar, diesel cooking heating and HWS,
Cummins 6BT, Allison 6 speed auto, Nissan transfer.

The reason I can't find a paint tint code appears to be because there isn't one.
XT/LT are painted in International paints base white. No tint.

Would be good to get the original OKA paint.

Its pretty tough stuff, most OKA`s paint is not too bad even after 15 to 20 years..........

It is very good quality paint. I have been using the same paint on spreaders and boomsprays for some time now. Very hardy.
Interthane 990 is the current incarnation 2pack from International. But if you don't need 4lts and are only doing touch-ups then Interlac 649 in 1lt with an enamel hardener is the best option.

Thanks Tony, as it so happens I purchased a can of spray a while ago, matched to the OKA according to their books, applied yesterday....... and the match is incorrect or the colour on OKA has changed...
Will try the Interthane next time

There is a paint code called OKA. It is a Toyota Corolla and other Toyota paint code. Not OKA colour code

Toyota call it diamond white 061. It is different to the Landcruiser white 058 I think for memory.

Original OKA`s paint is different again.

061 is different. OKA is a camry colour

I have tried the interlac 649 and sadly it dries to a slightly creamier white. An enamel thing apparently. INTERTHANE 990 2 pack is only avvailable as a 5lt kit. Azko Nobel don't seem interested in helping with colour so I contacted the Dupont supplier in Perth, Premier paints, and they have a spectrum analyser and can do 2 pack stunning white in any size you want. Sika white sikaflex is the same white as original XT/LT white.

Cheers, Tony
