Hi all,
This might help anyone building a camper to work out their final weight. I have weighed my four corners after removing the tray etc. The following weights are taken from Oka 059 single cab, dual tanks with about 20 litres each, air conditioning, bull bar, dual batteries fitted, standard split rim wheels, no spare, tray removed.
Left Rear - 400kgs
Right Rear - 450 kgs
Left Front - 1020 kgs
Right Front - 1050 kgs

I can't vouch for the accuracy, but I don't think it is too far out. I used a jack with pressure gauge (with standard jack on opposite wheel to keep it level). Using the same procedure before removing the tray etc gave a figure that agreed pretty closely with a weighbridge ticket.

Cheers all,

Paul

Good info, I've been wondering how to do this with out tilt traying to weigh it. Mine sagged big mobs on driver's side with new springs. The weights you have here aren't too different from side to side. Cheers

For interests sake I weighed 374 fully loaded with the poptop and the slideout while we were away and it came in at 5500kgs split pretty well even front to rear, there was only about 100kgs difference.
So that will give those that are still converting an idea of finished weight on a bus body.
