Sort of on-topic because I need tanks from this mob and have a couple of different sizes picked out that fit perfectly in my new box design
"Rota Moulding WA
Phone : (08) 9250 1125
Rota Moulding W.A was founded in 1985 by Brian Flanagan and soon joined by his son Wayne Flanagan to guide the company to where it is today, A leader in Rotational Moulding that is owned and operated right here in W.A. The company operates from Midvale in Western Australia and has 14 dedicated staff to ensure the high quality standard of Rota Moulding is maintained. As well as quality the company also values the environment with a comprehensive recycle program in place. "
and for some reason they have stopped communicating by email over the last two or three weeks even though I keep asking for an invoice and method of payment.
Obviously I can try ringing them when I get back home, but if they have gone belly-up, I may as well not waste any time in sorting out alternatives.
Anyone in the west know if they are still in business
thanks

I had tanks made for our Oka by Abba tanks in Qld, were good to deal with and made constructive suggestions re the tanks and fittings etc. They are welded "plastic" and are very tough, no leaks or problems over the 10,000k's on this trip.

I just spoke to Troy at Rota, and he became quite angry, saying that you should "settle down a bit." He was annoyed because he received an email from you at 5.30 this morning, and here I am ringing him up as soon as he gets into his office!
He tells me that his business is not a huge business like ebay........ he did eventually say that he would send you an invoice with banking details.
Sounds to me like a man with a problem, not necessarily one to whom I would send money on faith and hope. Abba tanks might be looking pretty good - and closer to home.
I had my tanks made by Atlas. They seem okay, but not great.

Thanks Paul - and others.
As for my calming down, I have sent emails asking how to pay and needing a total price with no reply at all. Since he had previously replied to my queries, either my messages weren't getting through or they had gone out of business -- hence my request here. I thought it strange that having done the work to secure a sale, once the purchase is agreed, they drop out of sight.
On Sept 26th I wrote "I will be able to give you the go-ahead and pay in full or a deposit once I see what the price will be."
His reply to that was "yes the tanks are still freight free" - which was little help since I didn't know how much the diesel tank would be.
I wrote back next day asking
"So do you email an invoice?
Credit card payment?"
Nothing heard from him since then despite followup emails on the 8th and 13th October.
VERY strange way to do business.
