Rick, Janet and I are so sorry to hear your sad news.

We met you and Sue at Ningaloo and at your home in Geelong and have good memories of those occasions.

Having faced our own smaller battle, but survived, we can understand a little, just a little, of what you have been through.

Keeping in touch with friends and family will be hard, but will help you get though the next difficult phase. There is a future, and we're here to help.

Kind Regards, David and Janet

Rick at times like this its hard to know what to say. I can only imagine your pain and at this time you will be occupied with finalising things the real pain will be in the coming weeks and months when others go back to their own life and you are left on your own.
You know my number call any time.
What now ?..Life still goes on it will just be different.

I am not known to be overly sensitive, but even though we all know the outcomes of the world, grief is a difficult thing,
My Mrs is a psychologist and deals with grief mostly in a 40/5. (it maybe be 36-38, but it is the majority....)
You may be well counciled to seek people that understand grief to help you through it.

If you are ever my way, then I have an ear, and. A belly for cider or ale, if that seems worthwhile.
In mean time time, I steel myself to what, in a Hemingway sense, is certain.

This may not help, but I find an odd comfort in it this....

Mostly in the way that your experience is validated, but no one else has the same experience.

(Submited wIth only the most benevolent intent)
