Now I have to work out how to get my Kayaks tied onto the roof or make a roof rack quickly.
Pity its not winter as there is a lot of fire wood around

OKA get-together 2018
The OKA camp will be between Ibis & Billy Lakes.
Note, ignore the grey line on the map!
From Narrogin head east from the roundabout on Yillamining road past Beaurepairs towards Harrismith.
If you go past Dunlop, you are on the wrong road!
Head east 7km over railway past Yillamining rock for approx. 50km until you crest a hill.
There is a big lake in front of you, approx. 250m on right is lookout.
Continue east around the top of lake over the railway and a creek.
After approx. 1km there is an S-bend
After approx. 500m watch out for a red and white drum.
Turn south as marked on map over railway.
Head south on gravel road.
CAUTION!
Right angle bends 90 degree to T road with big tree.
Turn west for 5 km to bottom of big lake.
After approx. 2km you will see IBIS lake on your left.
Turn at iron gate.
You need to open AND CLOSE the gate!
PLEASE RESPECT AND FOLLOW THE RULES:
We are on private farm land and are privileged to be there. We are also surrounded by park and wildlife reserves.
NO FIRES!
(Total fire ban season begins Sept 2017 and ends APRIL 2018)
There will be a controlled, contained BIG BBQ for all to share with manned fire truck.
NO DOGS:
We are surrounded by STUD sheep farms ($5k + per sheep)
The law of the land is: Shoot dogs first, ask questions later
There is also bird nature reserve and NPaW / DEC / CALM use 10/80 baits
BOATS
The ski lake is shallow, good for skiing, dingy, jet ski, canoes, catamarans, float's, etc.
NO MOTOR BIKES
As we are on private land, we respectfully request no turning up of the turf with dirt bikes.
RUBBISH
Sorry to say, there will be no bins for rubbish disposal provided. We will be guests on this beautiful piece of land, so as they saying goes, only leave your footprints, it is expected everyone to look after their own disposal of rubbish please.
SAFETY AND RESPONSIBILITY
Especially those bringing children, everyone is responsible for themselves, especially around the water and water craft. You are responsible for you and yours. The closest Emergency Department is over an hour (1 hour) away and can be detrimental to an accident emergency
TOILET AND SHOWERS
Provided is a large fresh water tank for showers and washing only. With the toilets, there will be post holes dug at numerous places (long drop dunnies), but, you are required to bring your own toilet paper. If anyone has any spare privacy tents and dunny seats (especially for the ladies) would be greatly appreciated. No expulsion of port-a-toilets is expected on this land – there is a place in Narrogin this can be done
Thank you all in anticipation!! Let us all enjoy a great weekend of OKA’s!! Susi’s 60th birthday dream is to break the Melbourne record of 26 OKA’s in one gathering. Vehicles must be driven.
Lets bring the OKA legend back to WA!!
A’V A GREAT WEEKEND !!! Don’t forget the AREAGARD!!!

As this campground is on private farm land, thus the need to keep it private, the last thing we need is it to be listed on free camp web sites or books.
This is our secret location and we want to keep it secret.
PLEASE RESPECT IT!
Thanks.
SAUSAGE SIZZLE AND SINGaLONG SUNDAY
Susi and Ruedi have Swiss sausages for all those who have R.S.V.P. and anyone musical , bring your musical instrument and voices, and join into the local band for a gig!
It is BYO drinks.
Please bring a plate or dessert (register with Susi for co-ordination of the “menu”).
R.S.V.P.
Please R.S.V.P. by replaying to Susi A.S.A.P. but no later than Feb. 24.
Thanks.

I would expect that others will put up photo's soon,I cant as I didn't take any but it was a good turnout with 23 of all models and configerations.
It was in a secluded part of farmland surrounded by lakes,I took my kayaks and had a paddle.
Saturday we were entertained by a band and thoses who wanted to join in with entertaining the masses could or we just sat back got entertained.
Sunday we all chipped in with food and had a buffet dinner.
Monday we headed home after a relaxing W/end spoiled only by a bloody water pump.
A big thank you to Rudi and Susi, Brett and Anita who had organised the gathering and then the camp site with male and female toilets, lighting and a fire place.
Dean gave out souvenir caps and stubby holders.
All in all a good w/end and the next one is already planned for next year on the first w/end in april so all in the east can plan ahead.

I got up to the end of some wrenches, and Frank seemed to be working on a young fellow's car.
The closing words were something like, a smart fellow would do XYZ before heading down.
I have X&Y done, and still attending to Z.

It only works every time if you are a member of the OKA 4 x 4 Facebook site as it is a closed group and you are a member so it works for you every time.
So to see the video's you have to join I guess it is a way to increase the members.
