1995 LT
Fixing the heater - air direction - air recycle - fan assembly and found a micro switch with bracket and a small light in a metal box.
I have a microswitch for the demister
Where do they belong?
Whoever took this apart had no idea so I spend time working it out but this has me stumped.
If you have photos of the workings of this area it would be appreciated

4WD indicator light, sits near the transfer case lever box and gets operated when you move the transfer case lever from the 2wd position.
They were also used to indicate the side door was open and the step was down but ours never had one.

the little light would plug into the back of the appropriate light on the dash. The bracket on the switch is roo big for the 4wd indicator mount so suspect it is the step down indicator/
