We have part completed internal rebuild.Exterior bodywork has been completed, but paint turned into a bit of a nightmare.Been there 4weeks,now due for a part strip back.Should be finished on our return from New Zealand.
A few more weeks to complete the electrics and internal work, should see us on the road again.Kangaroo Island here we come!
If anyone has pictures of their spare wheel crane I would appreciate seeing them.
Pictures will become available when I find out how to post them.

Hi len & Rina.
There are a couple of wheel crane pics in the "Conversion" slide show on my page.
The winch is a 5:1 with a clutch. Can be driven by the wheel brace or a large, slow drill. The cable runs up the centre of the tube and out the end via a pulley. It pivots around for either wheel.
Cheers,
Peter

Thanks for the help Peter, they are in but a bit out of order. Thanks for the crane idea too.I'll work on it as my gate mounting is different and they are 19,5" wheels,a fare bit heavier I guess.
