Trouble joining

I have heard from a number of OKA owners over on the FB pages that they have trouble registering here. Can an admin please tell me why this might be, and what steps could be taken to help them? These pages are a far better resource than FB can ever be, there are only so many OKA owners out there. This is the obvious place for new owners to come to learn, yet they all seem to see this forum as somer sort of "old boys' club". It shouldn't be. It would be better if this was the first port of call, like AULRO is for Land Rover.

Hi Mick, Sorry for the trouble but we had to strengthen the security as we were getting 100's of scammers trying to get in and unfortunately some genuine people get stuck.
I have entered you manually.

It is a great pity that since the faecesbook Oka forum was started that this site has faded away. It is still the very best source of technical information, but I guess that the older users of this forum have already received all the technical information they need, so have left here to join the facebook recipe club.
