Hi Jan and welcome to the Oka website.
You are not alone, most of us started off with little Oka knowledge but you'll find this website, and especially the forums which are very active, contain a wealth of information.
My suggestion is don't be in too much of a rush to buy an Oka, do your research first and ask as many questions as you like. No 2 Oka's are alike and there are lots of mods and upgrades to appreciate and being up to 20 years old, a few challenges too. There's no such thing as a dumb question and it's unlikely that the answers will be dumb either.
If you have any technical questions regarding use of the website, ask them too, we have three admins (Hal, James and me) and we're here to help.
Kind Regards, David

Welcome aboard.
As all have mentioned, plent of info here.
When you think you have found the perfect OKA, sit back and think about it first. Find out its history and ask questions on here. OKA are getting a bit of age on them now and a lot have previously had hard lifes.
But find the right one and you will love.
Remember also I think most OKA`s for sale need some money spent on them. I would budget 5 to 10k. Even if its to change things you dont like, upgrades etc etc.
