just doing the intro thing as been snooping around the past day.

I have been living overseas in South East Asia since '96 and although an avid car nut never had the chance to tinker up here. In '08 that changed and I rebuilt a Land Rover Lightweight, shipped in to Oz and drove it from Brisbane to Perth.

Since then I have been tinkering. I rebuilt several TD Pinzgauers and a few more Landrovers that were sold for various reasons. I now have an Acmat and a couple of bikes.

But all in all I am getting frustrated not doing another Oz trip. Having seen OKA's over the years I was looking around for a project, this got me excited but then I saw it is a year old www.oka4wd.com/for-sale-wanted-complete-...8-for-sale-in-newman

Project OKA`s come up from time to time.

Being a Landrover Nut, will put you in good stead, plenty on the Forum have or had a Land rover of some description.

ditto I has a DS come back blotto at Kapooka and tried to strangle me.... doubt it was anything personal just I was in the first room by the door. I have some horror stories from 1rtb which considering it sounded like the 60's in redneck central instead of the 80's

Yep, could be a book written I think. I seen a few nasty things happen at 1RTB
